We're glad you're here.

At shop.baderum.com you'll find fixtures, accessories and individual elements from our design series. Every item is chosen with the same care for detail and craftsmanship that we put into our bathroom renovations. When you shop with us, we enter into an agreement. These Terms of Service describe what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

We've written these terms to be understood. Please read them through, particularly the sections on liability, and do write to us at shop@baderum.com if anything is unclear. We're advisers by nature, here too.

The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Baderum.com, operated by Baderum Group ApS. We run this webshop and website with all associated content, features, tools, products and services to give you, our customer, a considered shopping experience (the "Services"). Baderum.com runs on Shopify's platform, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The terms and conditions below, together with all policies referred to herein (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms"), describe your rights and obligations when you use the Services. Please read them carefully. They contain important information about your legal rights, including disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms or the privacy policy, we ask that you do not use the shop.

An important note for you as a consumer: if you shop as a private individual, you always have the rights granted by mandatory Danish law, including the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) and the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven), and your 14-day right of withdrawal. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. Where a term conflicts with mandatory consumer protection, the law prevails.

1. Access and account

By accepting these Terms of Service, you confirm that you are of legal age (18 or older), and that you have consented to any minors in your household using the Services on devices you own or manage.

To use the Services, including when you browse the shop or purchase products, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address and billing, payment and delivery details. You warrant that the information you give us is accurate, current and complete, and that you have the necessary rights to provide it.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on the account. You may not transfer, sell or assign your account to others.

2. Our products

We take care to present our products accurately and honestly. Please be aware, however, that colours and appearance may differ from what you see on your screen, depending on your device, its settings and lighting conditions. This is especially true of coloured surfaces such as tiles and painted finishes.

We cannot guarantee that a product's appearance or quality will fully meet your expectations or be identical to what is shown. If you are in doubt before a purchase, write to us. We're happy to advise on materials, dimensions and combinations.

All product descriptions may change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue the sale of a product and to limit the quantity we offer to a particular person, geographic area or jurisdiction.

3. Orders

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase from us. Your order is only accepted once we confirm it, and we must have received and processed your payment before the order is accepted. We reserve the right to accept or decline an order.

Review your order before you submit it. Once an order is accepted, we cannot always accommodate a cancellation, but contact us as soon as possible at shop@baderum.com and we'll find a solution if it's possible. Note that this does not affect your right of withdrawal as a consumer, see section 6.

If we cannot accept, change or cancel an order, we will contact you at the email, billing address or phone number you provided when ordering.

Your purchases may be returned or exchanged in accordance with our Return Policy and section 6 below.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice. The price that applies to your purchase is the one shown at the time of ordering and confirmed in your order confirmation.

If we offer a promotion, it may be subject to separate terms. If there is a conflict between promotion terms and these Terms, the promotion terms prevail for the matters the promotion covers.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and account information for all purchases, and to update it if anything changes, so that we can complete your transaction and contact you. You warrant that the payment details you provide are correct, that you are entitled to use the chosen payment method, and that the amount can be charged.

5. Shipping and delivery

We ship your order as quickly as we can and provide an estimated delivery time. All delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing or circumstances beyond our control. Once we have handed the products over to the carrier, the risk of loss and damage passes to you, though only upon your physical receipt of the item if you are shopping as a consumer and have chosen the carrier yourself from our options.

If you find that a shipment is delayed or damaged, write to us at shop@baderum.com and we'll help you from there.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

If you shop as a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. To withdraw, you must notify us before the deadline expires at shop@baderum.com and return the item without undue delay.

Certain items may be exempt from the right of withdrawal, for example custom-fitted products or items made to your specifications. Where this applies, it will be clearly stated on the product.

The detailed conditions for returns, condition, packaging and refunds are set out in our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Your purchases are for personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.

7. Intellectual property rights

The Services, including all trademarks, names, text, images, graphics, design, product reviews, video and audio, as well as the selection and arrangement thereof, are owned by Baderum.com, our affiliates or our licensors, and are protected by Danish and international intellectual property law, including copyright and trademark law.

These Terms grant you the right to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display or perform, republish, download, store or transmit material from the Services without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms transfers any licence or right to our or any third party's intellectual property, unless expressly stated. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Baderum.com.

The name Baderum.com, our logos, design series (BLOOM, CLEAR, CORE, HERITAGE, MANOR), product and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks belonging to Baderum Group ApS or our licensors. You may not use them without our prior written permission. The Shopify name, logo and marks are trademarks belonging to Shopify. All other names and marks on the Services belong to their respective owners.

8. Optional tools

You may access tools from third parties as part of the Services, which we neither monitor nor control.

Access to such tools is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or endorsement on our part. We assume no responsibility for your use of optional third-party tools. Use them at your own risk, and familiarise yourself with the terms on which the relevant third party provides them.

If we add new features or tools to the Services in the future, they are also covered by these Terms of Service.

9. Third-party links

The Services may contain materials and links to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for reviewing or assessing the content or accuracy of third-party material, and if you choose to follow a link away from the Services, you do so at your own risk.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage in connection with your access to third-party websites or your purchase and use of products there. Read the relevant third party's policies before doing business with them, and direct complaints and questions about their products to them directly.

10. Relationship with Shopify

Baderum.com runs on Shopify's platform, which enables us to provide the Services to you. All purchases and sales you make in our shop are made directly with Baderum.com, however. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of the sale between you and Baderum.com, including any damage or loss resulting from products and services purchased. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liability arising out of or in connection with your purchases and transactions with Baderum.com.

11. Protection of personal data

All personal data we collect through the Services is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Certain personal data may also be subject to Shopify's privacy policy. By using the Services, you confirm that you have read these policies.

As the Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify collects and processes personal data about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit may be transferred to and shared with Shopify and third parties that may be located in countries other than yours, for the purpose of providing the Services. See our Privacy Policy for more information on how we, Shopify and our partners process your personal data.

12. Feedback and reviews

If you send or post ideas, suggestions, feedback, reviews or other content to us ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free and sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display that Feedback in any medium and for any purpose, including commercial use, for example to operate, improve and promote the Services.

You warrant that (i) you have the necessary rights to your Feedback, (ii) you have disclosed any compensation you have received for providing it, and (iii) your Feedback complies with these Terms. We are not obliged to keep your Feedback confidential, to pay for it, or to respond to it.

We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, edit or remove Feedback that we deem to be unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene or otherwise in breach of these Terms or the rights of third parties.

You agree that your Feedback does not infringe the rights of third parties, including copyright, trademark and data protection rights, and does not contain unlawful or objectionable material, viruses or other harmful code. You may not use a false identity or otherwise mislead us about the origin of the Feedback. You are responsible for the Feedback you provide and its accuracy.

13. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions

Occasionally, information on the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions, which may relate to product descriptions, prices, promotions, delivery charges, delivery times or availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information was inaccurate, including after you have placed your order. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible, and you will of course be refunded any amount already paid.

14. Prohibited use

You may only use the Services for lawful purposes. You may not, directly or indirectly, use the Services: (a) for unlawful or malicious purposes; (b) to violate applicable laws or regulations; (c) to infringe our or others' intellectual property rights; (d) to harass, abuse, threaten or harm our employees or others; (e) to submit false or misleading information; (f) to submit or reuse material that does not comply with these Terms; (g) to send unsolicited advertising, "junk mail", "chain letters", "spam" or the like; (h) to impersonate another person or entity; or (i) for conduct that restricts others' use of the Services, or that may harm Baderum.com, Shopify or its users.

You further agree not to: (a) upload viruses or other harmful code; (b) reproduce, copy, extract, sell or resell any part of the Services; (c) collect or track others' personal data; (d) spam or carry out phishing or pharming; (e) use bots, scraping, data-extraction tools, AI tools or automated means to access the Services; or (f) circumvent or undermine security or access-restricting measures. We reserve the right to suspend or close your account without notice if we determine that you have breached these Terms.

15. Agents

15.1. This section (the "Agent Terms") applies if you use, permit or cause an agent to access or interact with the Services. "Agent" means any software or service that performs autonomous or semi-autonomous actions on behalf of, or at the instruction of, a person or entity, and that may operate without direct supervision.

15.2. No agent may access or interact with the Services unless it identifies itself at all times and acts in strict accordance with section 15.4. No agent may access the Services if we have asked the agent to refrain from doing so.

15.3. We may limit, including by technical means, whether and how an agent accesses and interacts with the Services.

15.4. Agents must: (i) in all HTTP/HTTPS requests, identify that the request comes from an agent by including "Agent/[agent name]" in the request's user-agent string; (ii) not conceal that access or interaction originates from an agent, for example by imitating human behaviour or circumventing CAPTCHAs; (iii) answer truthfully any question about whether interactions come from a human or a computer; (iv) not circumvent measures intended to block, limit or control agent access.

16. Termination

We may terminate this agreement or your access to the Services (or parts of it) at any time and without notice. You remain responsible for all amounts owed up to and including the date of termination.

The following sections survive termination: Intellectual property rights, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Miscellaneous, Governing law, Protection of personal data, and all other provisions that by their nature should continue.

17. Disclaimer

The information on the Services is for general information only. We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose, and your reliance on it is at your own risk.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Services and all products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond what follows from mandatory law. We do not warrant that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

This disclaimer does not limit the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Danish law, including the rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act on defects and notification of defects.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Baderum.com, our affiliates, management, employees, agents, suppliers and licensors, as well as Shopify and Shopify's affiliates, are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses of any kind, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data or the cost of substitute goods, arising from your use of the Services or products purchased through the Services, whether the claim is based on contract, tort or otherwise.

Our total liability to you cannot exceed the amount you have paid for the product or order to which the claim relates.

Nothing in this section limits our liability for intentional or grossly negligent acts, for personal injury, or for liability that cannot be disclaimed under mandatory Danish law, including your rights as a consumer.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Baderum.com, Shopify and our respective affiliates, management, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers against any loss, damage and claim, including reasonable legal costs, payable to third parties as a result of (1) your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they refer to, (2) your breach of law or the rights of third parties, or (3) your access to and use of the Services.

We will notify you of any such claim. We may choose to handle the defence and any settlement, including choice of counsel, but will not enter into a settlement that imposes non-financial obligations on you without your consent, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. You will cooperate in the defence, including by providing relevant documents.

20. Miscellaneous

Severability. If a provision of these Terms of Service is unlawful, void or unenforceable, it is enforced to the extent the law permits, and the remaining part of the provision is deemed severed, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce a right or provision does not constitute a waiver of it.

Entire agreement. These Terms of Service and the policies we publish in connection with the Services constitute the entire agreement between you and us, and supersede all prior agreements and communications on the same subject, including earlier versions of the Terms of Service.

Assignment. You may not assign this agreement or your rights and obligations under it without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent.

Headings. Headings are for information only and do not affect the interpretation of the Terms.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Service, and any separate agreement under which we provide Services to you, are governed by Danish law. Disputes are resolved by the Danish courts.

If you shop as a consumer and are dissatisfied with an item or a decision, we encourage you to contact us first at shop@baderum.com. We almost always find a solution. If we cannot reach agreement, you may bring the matter before the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution and the Consumer Complaints Board (Center for Klageløsning og Forbrugerklagenævnet, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, naevneneshus.dk). You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ODR) at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

22. Changes to the Terms of Service

You can always see the latest version of the Terms of Service on this page.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace parts of these Terms of Service by publishing the changes on our website. We will give notice of material changes in accordance with applicable law, and they take effect on the date stated in the notice. Your continued use of the Services after the changes are published constitutes acceptance of them.
