Carrara Dark Checker is a chequerboard pattern made from two tiles in the same series, a deep dark grey and a light white-grey, meeting like depth and light on the same wall. The pattern is drawn by the calm rhythm of two shades alternating field by field, without a diagonal. A graphic look with contrast at the fore.
The inspiration is the classic Italian Carrara marble in two shades, rendered in porcelain stoneware. The surface comes either honed, with a soft, semi-polished sheen, or matt, with a more subdued expression. The detail of marble, the durability of porcelain. Fully rectified, so the grout line can be kept to a minimum.
Suited to both floor and wall indoors. The high-contrast look works especially well in rooms with good daylight, where the dark fields are allowed to stand out against the light ones.
Price: DKK 1,150 per m². Sold in even square metres (minimum 4 m²). We put the set together with both shades, so the checker pattern is ready to lay. For smaller quantities, collection from our warehouse in Hvidovre is required. Get in touch and we will arrange it.
