Carrara Kolmården Checker is a chequerboard pattern made from two tiles in contrasting styles, a light white-grey Carrara and a deep green-black Kolmården, meeting like calm and drama on the same wall. The pattern is drawn by the simple rhythm of two shades alternating field by field, without a diagonal. A graphic look with the detail in the dark veining.
The inspiration is two classic marbles: the Italian Carrara with its timeless whiteness, and the Swedish Kolmården marble from Östergötland, known for its green-black patterns. Both are rendered in porcelain stoneware with a honed surface, semi-polished, matt and velvety. The detail of marble, the durability of porcelain. Fully rectified, so the grout line can be kept to a minimum.
Suited to both floor and wall indoors. The dark Kolmården adds weight, while Carrara keeps the room light, a combination that works in both classic and calm spaces.
Price: DKK 1,150 per m². Sold in even square metres (minimum 4 m²). We put the set together with both shades, so the checker pattern is ready to lay. For smaller quantities, collection from our warehouse in Hvidovre is required. Get in touch and we will arrange it.
