Skagen Checker is a chequerboard pattern made from two matt tiles, a chalk white and a dusty grey-blue, meeting like light and sky on the same wall. The pattern is drawn by the calm rhythm of two shades alternating field by field. A graphic look with calm in the subdued palette.
The tiles are full-body porcelain stoneware in a classic European tradition, where the colour runs all the way through the tile. The surface is unglazed and matt with an earthy, stone-like character, and because the pigment sits throughout the material, the tile patinas beautifully and withstands wear without losing colour.
The dense, hard-wearing surface makes Skagen well suited to both floor and wall indoors. The small format and the calm chequer give the bathroom character, and the classic checker works just as well in a hallway or a kitchen.
Price: DKK 1,400 per m². Sold in even square metres (minimum 4 m²). We put the set together with both shades, so the checker pattern is ready to lay. For smaller quantities, collection from our warehouse in Hvidovre is required. Get in touch and we will arrange it.
